Samsung Galaxy Note (Samsung GN)
Samsung Galaxy Note is a large Android smartphone with a touchscreen and stylus.
The original Samsung Galaxy Note had a 5.3-inch screen. Samsung Galaxy Note 2, released in September 2012, boasts a 5.5-inch screen, closer in size to some tablets than to many smartphones. As a result, the devices are often referred to as phone-tablet hybrids or phablets.
Both Samsung Galaxy Note devices come with an S Pen stylus, which is designed to mimic the feel and responsiveness of writing with a pen on paper. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 device is shipped with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It runs on 3G HSPA+ and 4G LTE cellular networks, as well as Wi-Fi. Other technical specifications include 2 GB of RAM, a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and a microSD memory slot for up to 64 GB of removable storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Note devices are part of the flagship Samsung Galaxy line.
