The Wireless Network Performance Handbook provides vital information network engineers and managers must have to stay competitive in a fast-moving, cost-conscious field, and to ready their networks for 3G mobile data and services. It contains realistic advice on metrics, troubleshooting methods, design guidelines, revenue assurance and more.

Chapter 5, "RF System Performance and Troubleshooting," covers three basic principles. First, defining key goals and objectives for the performance of the system. Second, defining how these goals and objectives will be measured or monitored. Third, defining the actions to be taken on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to improve system performance. Stressing that system performance for any wireless network involves a continuous series of adjustments and refinements.
