Offering an alternative to Windows Mobile user interface, Pointui is offering an UI compatible with Windows Mobile smartphones for free. Pointui is a new freeware user interface (UI) for Windows Mobile smartphones. It has been designed to fingertip-friendly, allowing the user to perform many common tasks with a single touch.
The UI is designed around around the Applet Ribbon, which allows the user to quickly access the time, tasks, appointments, calendar and up-to-date weather forecasts.
But Pointui doesn't stop there. It replaces much of Windows Mobile's UI, from launching applications to changing the settings. All of these tasks can be performed with a fingertip or the D-pad.
However, this application does not significantly modify the UI of individual applications. It does not, for example, make Word Mobile more fingertip-friendly. Nor does it include a fingertip keyboard.
