John Landry, Adesso Systems, Chairman and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Landry currently serves as chairman and CTO at Adesso Systems. Previously, Mr. Landry served as vice president, technology strategy at IBM. In this unique position, he was charged with discovering and evaluating new, disruptive technologies emerging from "edge" companies for possible incorporation into IBM's top-level corporate strategies. This assignment followed IBM's acquisition of Lotus in 1995, where Mr. Landry had served as senior vice president, development and CTO from 1990. Prior to Lotus, Mr. Landry acted as senior vice president and CTO at a number of technology companies including Dun & Bradstreet, Cullinet Software, Distribution Management Systems and McCormack & Dodge Corporation. The latter three companies were all targets of successful acquisitions in the 1980s. Mr. Landry is currently both a director of, and an investor in, several private high technology companies. He holds a BA in finance from Babson College where he serves as a Trustee and part-time instructor. |
