QUESTION POSED ON: 12 March 2004
Does broadcast in WLAN network use RTS/CTS flags too?

>
No. According to IEEE 802.11-1999, "The RTS/CTS mechanism cannot be used for MPDUs with broadcast or multicast intermediate address because there are multiple destinations for the RTS, and thus potentially multiple concurrent senders of the CTS in response."
