Microsoft Exchange Server ActiveSync Web Administration Tool

The Microsoft Exchange Server ActiveSync Web Administration Tool is a software application that provides a network administrator with a Web interface for mobile device management.

The interface allows the administrator to perform remote administration functions such as deactivating and erasing data on lost, stolen, or otherwise compromised mobile devices.

It provides a centralized way to stop Exchange ActiveSync enabled mobile devices from accessing data on an organization's Microsoft Exchange servers, and remotely erase email, contact, calendar and other related data on them.

The ActiveSync Web Administration Tool can be used to view the devices used by an enterprise user, issue or retract erase commands for them, log erase requests, and monitor the status of erasures.

The ActiveSync Web Administration Tool must be installed on the same domain as the accounts for the devices being managed for it to work. The tool only works on mobile devices compatible with Microsoft Exchange and Exchange ActiveSync.
