I definitely think that smart phones are going to be a target for malware -- especially the ones running well-established OSes such as PocketPC and PalmOS that are already vulnerable. I'm sure it'll just be a matter of time before the new Linux-based smart phones are attacked as well. Just stick to the golden rule of malware protection -- run anti-virus software if it's available...no exceptions.
